CCIDD Planning Packet for Leaders

Schedule dates for your group with CCIDD Exec. Director. Write ccidd@cableonline.com.mx. When a date is set, send a nonrefundable $300 deposit to CCIDD to secure your dates. See web page for address, (Contact us). An invoice will be sent to you.

COSTS
CCIDD program costs as of September, 2006, are $60 per day per person. A $300 nonrefundable deposit is required to secure dates requested.

A $5 key deposit is asked of each person upon arrival; cash is recommended.

If the group goes to any archeological site or museum, participants pay entrance fees. Most are about $4.00. Many of our groups go to Xochicalco. Some go to the Cortes Palace museum near our Center during free time.

Sometimes the group may eat out at their own expense. We recommend planning ahead for this.

Shopping opportunities are provided with some of our partners and we are located near artisan markets. In visiting families in La Estacion and Cuentepec, the women will be selling their artisan items and some sell candy and flowers. Advise your group of these possibilities.

Tips for our staff are welcome at the end of the program. We ask that money be given collectively and not individually to our staff. This can be given during the final payment on the last day. Individuals can leave tips and/or the group as a whole may do so. Some groups decide to leave the key deposits as a tip. Tips are considered extra, not part of the cost. The staff is grateful for any donation as a sign of appreciation for their hospitality to you. They will need small change.

PARTICIPANT REGISTRATION FORMS
When you have the final number of participants we will email you a Participant Registration form requesting names, age, health and dietary information. We would like information for all guests regarding health and diet needs so we can meet all needs and help make our guests comfortable. Our kitchen staff can provide many options for vegetarians, vegans, or food allergies. The age info helps us in our planning of the program. It is important to know gender to plan room arrangements.

Participant PLANNING Info sheets WHAT TO BRING , A FEW Q & A, DONATIONS These pages will be sent as plans are made for your group. They are also on the web page under Form a Group. These pages can be duplicated and distributed in your prep gatherings or advised to access them on the CCIDD web page.

DONATIONS
A separate page is available regarding financial donations. See web page (Donations or Form a Group).

Some groups plan to bring items with them. We recommend these be small items, such as packets of vitamins, pencils/pens, crayons/markers, tooth brushes, combs, decorative items from your locale, useful items for a home, decks of cards, dice etc.. Please do not bring candy for children. School notebooks need to be specific for different schools and grades. These can be purchased here. Support the local markets! Some groups do fundraising for the trip and have extra as donations for groups whom they meet. Donations can be left in our contingency fund and distributed later to groups here.

Your donations are most welcome! Thank you for all you are able to share with those here in the Cuernavaca area.

FOR ANY OTHER QUESTIONS, DO ASK US! Thank you!
