Bringing a Group to CCIDD

| GROUP SIZE |
Groups vary in size from 10-60. There are no set requirements for group numbers.

| RESPONSIBILITIES OF GROUP ORGANIZER |
1. Communicate with CCIDD on group’s objectives and connection with CCIDD’s Mission. Write ccidd@cableonline.com.mx
2. Check out possible dates and reserve them. Send in nonrefundable $300 deposit.
3. Recruit participants. Plan preparation program, info meetings before travel, What to bring Q & A, all about Donations. For more details read the Planning Packet.
4. Be in dialog with CCIDD staff as they design your program.
5. Buy airline tickets and make arrangements for the group’s travel. Fly into Benito Juarez International Airport, Mexico City. CCIDD staff will meet you at the airport and will purchase bus tickets to Cuernavaca.
6. Communicate to CCIDD practical details such as, names of participants, special health and dietary needs, flight arrival and departure times.
7. Make full payment before arrival.
8. Particpate in leadership of group with CCIDD staff as mutually determined.

| PROGRAM COSTS |
We ask both US and Canadian groups to pay in US dollars.
As of Februry, 2010 the cost per day is $65 per person including day of arrival and day of departure. This includes your room, 3 meals per day, translation, program, transportation from and return to the airport, all local transportation for the program.
Cost does not include airfare to Mexico nor entrance to museums or archeological sites. A $5 key deposit is requested from each participant.

FACILITIES |
We have a capacity for 59, using all beds. On our main campus, Leyva # 39, we have 5 guest rooms for 22 people; across Leyva street we have 4 guest rooms for 11 people. One block north on Leyva # 33 we have a two story building for 26 people. The guest rooms have 2-6 beds: we use a few bunk beds when large groups come. Participants are expected to share rooms. Most rooms have a full bath with hot and cold water. Other rooms share a bath between a few bedrooms. Some rooms are on our 3rd floor balcony, others first and second floor. Our buildings are not handicap accessible.
Additionally on our main campus we have a large kitchen and dining area, an outdoor patio, a TV/video room, our palapa- the hexagonal meeting space, our library, pool and beautiful gardens as well as staff offices.
